Qom management & municipality cooperate in implementing urban regeneration

Qom Governor’s Deputy for Coordination of Civil Affairs says there is good cooperation and empathy between the management of the province and the municipality regarding urban regeneration projects, which should make the most of this opportunity.

Ebrahim Motamedi made the remarks in the meeting of the province’s regeneration headquarters, which was held in the meeting hall of the city train organization.

Rules and regulations related to urban regeneration should be developed in a way that can be used by the public, he noted.

Referring to the blocks prone to bartering in urban regeneration, he stated, “At present, the general method and criteria in this field are not clear, and on the other hand, the provincial administration is opposed to freezing, keeping closed and confiscating lands and license plates in these plans.”

In a meantime, Qom Governor’s Deputy for Civil Affairs Coordination stressed the need to provide timely infrastructure in matters related to urban regeneration.

Service companies are responsible for providing water, electricity and gas infrastructure to the 48 and 32 hectare lands of Pardisan town, he added.

He reiterated that there is favorable cooperation and empathy between the management of the province and the municipality of Qom regarding urban regeneration projects, which should make the most of this opportunity.
