Permanent exhibitions of flower launched in Qom for exchange with dry waste

The head of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization announced the establishment of permanent flower and plant exhibitions in fixed recycling stations for exchange with dry waste.

According to the news unit of Qom Municipality Waste Management Organization, Seyyed Abdullah Mirebrahimi, made the announcement while elaborating on the launch of a permanent exhibition of flowers and plants in Qom.

The implementation of exchange projects is done with the aim of encouraging citizens to participate in the waste separation plan from the source, he stated.

So far, four fixed recycling stations in districts 3, 5, 7, and 8 have been equipped and set up as the permanent flower and plant exhibitions, he added.

He described raising awareness in this area as important and said, “We need the cooperation of various institutions in the discussion of waste segregation, which includes cultural issues; Such as wearing a belt and a mask in the days of the coronavirus outbreak, which was promoted with the collaboration of the media, radio and other institutions.”

Mirebrahimi pointed out that separation of waste and reduction of dry waste volume are also issues that need to be taught.
