Niamey mayor of Niger meets Qom city council head, members

The mayor and a group of city managers of Niamey city of Niger met with the chairman and members of the Islamic City Council of the holy city of Qom.

Oumarou Dogari Moumouni, the mayor of Niamey, the capital of African Niger, along with a delegation, met with Dr. Eslami, chairman as well as members of the city council at the council’s building on Tuesday.

In this meeting, the mayor of Niamey touched upon the memorandum of cooperation between Niamey and Qom, and said,  “This relationship can be very extensive and we can use the experiences of the two countries and cities.”

For his part, the head of the Islamic City Council of Qom announced the readiness of Qom for communicating with other cities.

The councilor went on to note that Qom enjoys the ability to cooperate and exchange experiences with different countries and cities.

The African delegation arrived in Qom on Monday for a 3-day long visit to explore the avenues of cooperation.
